It's a Tuesday, so if you couldn't quite catch all of techie Guru Stuart Dredge's app news and reviews, here they all are again but written down...

NEWS

Reading and Leeds festival apps (iPhone / Android)

As you'd expect, these app come with all the lineups and location info you'd expect from a festival app.

A Genuine Freakshow

This is a mobile web app from a British band who are playing Reading/Leeds this weekend - basically they'll chuck flyers into the audience with a QR code for their new app, which people can scan there and then to listen to songs etc.

David Baldacci (iPhone)

Author David Baldacci has sold 110 million books, and now he's got an app. It has previews from every novel, but more interestingly, it gives more information on the locations in the book, and has photos and videos from David to keep fans in touch with what he's up to.

REVIEWS

RecyclePix (iPhone / Android / iPad)

This follows on from an app we talked about a few weeks ago where you can photograph graffiti and mess so it can be cleared up. RecyclePix goes a bit further; you can take photos of yourself recycling to earn discounts and coupons on buying stuff. So co-opting this 'share my photos' thing for eco good.

DK The Human Body and DK Quick Cook (both iPad)

Book publisher Dorling Kindersley is getting big into the iPad with two new apps. The Human Body is a full guide to everything skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, skin, hair & nails, lymphatic & immune, digestive, urinary and reproductive. Lots of whizzy hi-res images, zoomable photos and medical details. Meanwhile, DK Quick Cook won't put you off your dinner: it'll tell you how to cook it in 45 minutes.

Peter Dickson's Pocket Announcer (iPhone / Android)

Who? Him who does the voiceover for the X Factor, that's who. He has an app that lets you make him shout whatever sentence you want (albeit choosing from specific words so you can't be rude).
