Festival Apps
Pretty much every festival has its own official app now, including Glastonbury. How are people using them, how might they be improved? (e.g. livestreaming video)
An indie band have made an album whose app only works when you're in the National Mall in Washington, DC, with the music changing as you wander around. (Only really works in America!)
Reviews
a non-music but v nice idea here - it rates more than 700 picnic spots in the UK, with the ability to add your own photos and reviews of sarnie-munching hotspots.
12 of her songs as piano sheet music for iPad, complete with backing tracks to play along to. A good example of how music publishers are now interested in apps.
The US rapper has lent her name to a rap battle app where people test their rhymes against each other over the mobile network.
