Most people may associate Justin 'Bon Iver' Vernon with bleak wintery landscapes following the success of his debut album For Emma, Forever Ago which was recorded in a log cabin in his native Wisconsin.

He's back with a new track, available as a free download which has more in common with the summery 'chillwave' movement than his earlier glacial harmonies. The track's called 'Calgary' and it's a taster to his forthcoming self-titled album which is set for release on June the 21st.

If you're lucky enough to be in the US in August he'll be touring extensively, but in the meantime gear yourself up with some free music here.
