This is the golden record that was sent up in the Voyager spacecraft in 1977. It is estimated that the spacecraft has now left our solar system and is entering deep space. The record contains music from Beethoven, Mozart and Chuck Berry. But, what piece of music would you send?

maybe Vivaldi's Winter (1st movement) from the Four Seasons, Edvard Grieg's Solveig's Song (Peer Gynt), Gheorghe Zamfir's Lonely Shephard, Tom Waits's Blue Valentines, Iggy Pop's Passenger, "Manchester Et Liverpool" by Marie Laforêt... and, of course, Tchaikovsky's Grand Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker.
