INTERGALACTIC SHOW PLAYLIST

JarvisJarvis|18:24 UK time, Sunday, 5 September 2010

Hello 6 Music Earthlings, here is this weeks Sunday Service tracklisting. A selection of space themed tunes based around the Voyager 1 golden record, see more information about this in my previous post. The show included you choosing to send Kate Bush in to space to give ET something to vibe on and the final half hour was dedicated to all of you getting ready to go back to school tomorrow. Enjoy!

    Dear Jarvis,
what an amazingly beautiful Sunday Service!!! Loved the "intergalactic" theme !! I can't wait for the iPlayer to be up so that I can listen again and as I missed the first half hour when BBC 6 was down at least here in Sweden.....Really lovely show !! And does it make me "old" if I say I remember everything about that record and Voyager 1??... We talked a lot about it at school at the time and I have a feeling I buried something in my parents' garden "for aliens and future generations"...unfortunately my memory isn't good enough to remember what I buried or even where...! :)

    Lots of Love

How strange. I too mixed the new Books record in with some 'Blue Jam' a few months back on my old college show. https://bit.ly/aC6dTw PROVIDENCE.

Great show as always, J et al.

    Jarvis, Anyone?

    On June the 20th
an extract from David Byrnes Bicycle Diaries was read out by your lovely self and it would really help if you or anyone could let me know the chapter, as I want to quote a bit for my dissertation, the deadline of which is creeping increasingly closer and any time saved would be very helpful!

Thank you kindly - Kim X
