Sitting in for Jarvis on the Sunday Service this week are his former Pulp band mates Richard Hawley and keyboardist Candida Doyle. Both go back to back with the tunes and have The Crookes in session.

A very interesting show! I think Richard Hawley and Candida Doyle did a VERY good job and should have a show of their own!! Well done!! xx
Though Jarvis can never be "replaced" as then it's not "Jarvis Cocker's" Sunday Service, which I've grown to love........... :)

Any photos of Richard and Candida in the studio? I too loved today's show.

Yes, some photos would be nice...I'd like to see photos from EVERY Sunday Service! Photos of guests etc too...I think that would be very interesting to see!.......

I want to say thanks a lot to Candida and Richard for this Sunday Service. As expected, great!
I was really glad to hear The Street Wakens from Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Juliet. I am already starting to forget how wonderful his music is. Thanks for reminding. Like many people [I hope], I love when music tells a story.
hm.. Though I love to listen to the Wade in the Water performed, for example, by Judy Heske :), I find Big Mama's variant of this song (honestly, I first heard it) very impressive.

I should note that 'honestly' happens quite often here, at the Sunday Service. So, theSundayService, You've got a friend in me.
