Hometown: Catfish and The Bottlemen are from Llandudno, North Wales.

Style: Released as a single this September, Rango is an urgent, passionate indie rock track and a great advert for modern guitar music. It builds towards and frenetic finale under frontman Van McCann’s coolly delivered vocal and we’re sure fans of The Vaccines and The Wombats are really going to dig it.

You should know: Catfish and The Bottlemen are on our stage at Reading and Leeds festival. They play Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday – don’t worry if you aren’t there, we’ll have photos and highlights on this page as soon as they are ready.

Supported by: Rango has been well supported across Xfm, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, where it was Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record at the end of July. The band have also have had a number of tracks played by BBC Radio Wales’ Adam Walton who nominated the band for their slot at Reading and Leeds.
