If you missed it, check out Jason Carter's blog post from earlier this week all about BBC Introducing in 2013 and the journey over the last six years.

In that time we have had some great artists success stories including Florence + The Machine, Rizzle Kicks, Jake Bugg and Gabrielle Aplin to name a few. We now have nearly 40 local BBC Introducing shows who share a wealth of new music across BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, 6Music and 1Xtra, stages across the major UK festivals, and around 1,000 tracks a week being uploaded to the Introducing Uploader.

Indiana will perform alongside Ady Suleiman and the Ruen Brothers

2013 has already been a great year for us and we have some real talent being showcased across the shows. To celebrate some of these fantastic artists coming through BBC Introducing we are holding a showcase at London’s Borderline with three acts we are very excited about, Ruen Brothers, Ady Suleiman and Indiana.

The event is free and if you would like to come down on the night we have 100 places on the door on a first come first served policy – so get down early to avoid disappointment – this is guaranteed to be a roadblock.
