Supported by: The crew at BBC Music Introducing in Essex.
Style: R&B.
Essential: Bellah is a 22 year old R&B singer/songwriter from Essex who is influenced by avant-garde jazz, gospel, and artists such as SZA and Lauryn Hill. Bellah’s musical career started at the age of 5 when she became emerced in the world of musical theatre. She has previously worked with the likes of Conducta, Liv Dawson and Lauren Murray and now is focusing on her own material. Bellah says that 'Never Loved' is "such an amazing opportunity for me to complain. I was really angry about how my last relationship ended and I was venting to anyone and everyone but it wasn't helping. I tried writing diary entries, but it got me even more frustrated because I needed an outlet that wasn't so 'exclusive' for lack of a better word - hence the first line of the song."
