On the BBC Radio 1 playlist this week is Letting Go by Saint Raymond. It has been selected as the BBC Introducing track that gets airplay across the station's daytime output. You can listen to the track below, find out a little more about Saint Raymond in the process and share your comments too.
DO NOT FORGET - Saint Raymond plays our stage at Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend.
Hometown: Saint Raymond is 18 year-old Callum Burrows, from Nottingham.
Style: As the existing YouTube session clips and acoustic sets will testify, Saint Raymond came to fore as one man and his guitar. On Letting Go, this sound has been beefed up with driving synths and a production that builds to some big but tender moments. It's powerful pop and the second single from his Escapade EP.
You need to know: The Escapade EP was released on Gabrielle Aplin's Never Fade Records. Burrows supported Aplin on her recent European tour.
Supported by: Alongside support from BBC Introducing in the East Midlands, who had him in for a session back in 2011, Saint Raymond's previous single, Fall At Your Feet, was Zane Lowe's Next Hype in May.
Find out more: If you are going to Reading or Leeds Festival this weekend, be sure to catch Saint Raymond in the flesh. If not, get the highlights here from Monday and follow him on Twitter for the full fan experience.
