Essential: The Blinders are a three-piece alternative group from Doncaster who are now based in Manchester. The band is made up of childhood friends, Thomas, Charlie and Matt who make music that blends "loud and visceral political punk rock with enigmatic, psychedelic poetry and tones" - they're basically high energy rockers through and through. These guys are influenced by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Iggy Pop & The Stooges and Arctic Monkeys and their single 'Brave New World' is taken from their forthcoming album 'Columbia' which is out on September 21.
