Honne are the latest BBC Introducing act to be selected for our sought after weekly spot on the Radio 1 playlist. Their track “All In The Value” (which you can listen to in full below) will receive plays from Fearne, Greg and Scott. Style: Influenced by R&B, this sophisticated song-writing duo could be compared to the likes of James Blake and Frank Ocean. However, their originality and style alone has enticed the taste-makers of the industry well ahead of their debut live show in London last week.
You Need To Know: Within three months HONNE went from first Upload to being played on BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show. BBC Introducing in the West and Huw Stephens were early fans of their work and this track has already been streamed 100,000 times on Soundcloud.
