Do Nothing are on Radio 1's playlist! They are a band from Nottingham made up of Chris, Kasper, Charles and Andrew. They are influenced by LCD Soundsystem and Talking Heads, and have been championed by Dean Jackson at BBC Music Introducing in The East Midlands.
BBC 1Xtra: Deyah - Ciao
Reading's Deyah is now on 1Xtra's playlist! Deyah is a conscious, soulful rapper and singer championed by Linda Serck and the team at BBC Music Introducing in Berkshire. Deyah dropped her first track at the age of 16 and her lyrics discuss ethical and moral issues as well as her faith. She's influenced by Erykah Badu, Brandy, A Tribe Called Quest and Queen Latifah, and Jamz Supernova on 1Xtra is a big fan of hers too!
