North London’s Sorry are now on Radio 1's playlist! Make sure to tune into the network all week to hear their track 'Right Round The Clock'.

Essential: Sorry are a band from North London made up of Asha Lorenz, Louis O'Bryen, Campbell Baum and Lincoln Barrett, who first uploaded to Introducing in 2017. They've been championed by Introducing in London, Huw Stephens and BBC 6 Music. Their experimental sound is inspired by everything from Hermann Hesse to Aphex Twin and Tony Bennett. 'Right Round The Clock' will feature on their hotly-anticipated debut record called '925', which drops on 27 March. You can catch them playing at Village Underground in London on 7 May.

Style: Hard-hitting rap.

Essential: 'How We Do' is 19 year old Nayana IZ's debut single. She is an artist from North London who has been supported by 1Xtra and The Asian Network, who featured her on their Future Sounds 2020 list. Nayana fuses hip hop with influences from her Indian heritage and aside from the solo project, so is also a member of NiNE8 Collective, alongside Lava La Rue and Biig Piig. 'How We Do' was produced by Karma Kid and will be followed by a debut EP.
