This week’s Huw’s Label of Love is West London’s own Honest Jon’s Records, home to a big mix of genres and musical talent from around the world, including Actress, and Kelan Philip Cohran & The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.
It started life as a shop and grew into a label thanks to a suggestion from a regular customer, a certain Damon Albarn of Gorillaz and Blur fame. Huw spoke to Alan Scholefield from the label to find out what makes such an eclectic brilliant label tick…
