This week's Label of Love is responsible for releasing some true hip-hop and beat gems, from J-Rocc to J Dilla, Aloe Blacc and James Pants.
Stones Throw was started by the DJ Peanut Butter Wolf, and continues to celebrate the leftfield, push boundaries, and focus on quality and experimentation.
It's one of the world's most well-regarded labels. I spoke to the man responsible for managing the label in Europe, Alex Robinson, to get the lowdown on Stones Throw, and we heard tracks from James Pants and The Stepkids. Here's our chat if you missed it:
