Podcasts in the BBC iPlayer Radio App
We’ve added simple controls to choose whether to allow downloads when on mobile networks or just on WiFi (to avoid data charges), to ‘queue’ as many downloads as you like, and to manage your downloaded content quickly and easily via the new ‘My Downloads’ section of the app.

BBC iPlayer Downloads: simpler, more reliable downloads for desktop
Today, I'm pleased to announce the release of a new desktop downloads solution, BBC iPlayer Downloads , which aims to address the underlying cause of many of those issues.
Crowdsourcing the World Service radio archive: an experiment from BBC R&D
We've even had some dedicated listeners send us recordings of programmes that were missing from the archive. We are currently analysing the data so far to see how good the tags are by comparing professional archivists, listeners and our algorithms.
