There's no need to delete faces. You have every right to take a photo in The Shambles because it is a public place, and the right to publish the photo for journalistic purposes. Obscuring faces simply contributes to the commonly-held yet incorrect notion that taking photos of people in the street is not allowed (it is) and it fuels the illegal harassment of street photographers.
