Newton Faulkner is an absolute pro...
Went to a stunningly good intimate Newton Faulkner gig last night. All in aid of his new album 'Rebuilt by Humans' which was out yesterday. He is superb live and a very talented bloke. His gig wasn't without a few technical problems though. He tried to use an old fashioned cassette as his backing band but the tape seemed to be a bit strectched and was therefore out of tune.
He then played 'Dream Catch Me' and a string on his guitar broke. He wasn't having the best luck last night but he seems a really nice guy and totally won the crowd over. Even the traditionally docile Producer Neil was clapping along - for about 10 seconds.

Seen him several times now and nothing ever phases him at all. On top of that he's always amazing - how one guy with 2 legs, 2 arms and 1 mouth can do what he does is incredible.
