News flashback 1958: The Munich air disaster
On 6th February 1958 a plane carrying the Manchester United side crashed while attempting to take-off from a Munich-Riem airport in Germany. There were 23 fatalities in the crash and team manager Matt Busby was severely injured. It is now referred to as the Munich Air Disaster
