There has been a lot of hot hunks arriving in Albert Square recently, so to balance out all that testosterone, we are excited to have the glamourous Kate Magowan joining as sexy newcomer, Sadie Young!
A successful businesswoman, Sadie has worked hard to get where she is. She's quick-witted and guaranteed to bring a touch of class and glamour to the Square.
On her new role, Kate said: “I’m thrilled to be joining EastEnders and look forward to seeing what the character of Sadie will get up to in Walford.”
No doubt the male population of Walford will be glad to see her too, but they'll soon find Sadie is no pushover! She can more than look after herself, and won't be afraid to get involved in any high stakes drama with the preying men of the Square.
Sadie is a woman's woman, down to earth, with a wicked sense of humour. As she arrives shrouded in mystery, you can expect big things from her over the summer!

Kate has had a host of TV and film roles, including Silent Witness, Stardust, 24 Hour Party People, and The Fall of the Essex Boys (take note men of Walford!), and we can't wait to see her on-screen soon!
