It’s been confirmed that James Forde will be waving goodbye to his role as Liam Butcher. Liam’s on-screen departure is set for later in the year, although we’re keeping details of how he’ll exit under wraps for now.
Forde took over the role of Liam when the character was only nine years old and has grown up with the show.
In recent years the character has fallen in with the wrong crowd as part of a collaboration with Comic Relief to raise awareness of gang culture and been supportive of teen single mum Cindy.
