With the Christmas decoration celebrations continuing in The Square, Kathy heads home to look for Jane. However, she finds Bobby, who tells her that Jane's been hurt - and Jane at the bottom of the stairs! As she comes round, Jane covers for Bobby (again!?), and says she just tripped. Later on though, Bobby reveals that he actually pushed his mum. Not cool Bobby, really not cool.
On the day of Lucy's birthday a downcast Ian visits her grave. While he's away Kathy tells Bobby he has to come clean to his dad about what really happened to Jane.
In a bid to cheer Ian up, Kathy later suggests they go back to their roots and and help out on the stall. Surrounded by their past and a lot of fruit and veg, Ian and Kathy have a heart-to-heart. Ian tells his mum just how devoted to Bobby he really is, and Kathy decides to keep the secret to herself.
However, when Jane later tells Kathy that she's worried about Bobby's behaviour (finally!!), can Kathy ignore the fact that her grandson appears to have pretty violent tendencies...
