It's the day of Charlie's funeral and a devastated Kat stands with Stacey in The Square. It soon becomes clear to her that Stacey's behavior is far from normal, and she follows her cousin into The Vic.

Inside the pub, things go from bad to worse. When Jean asks to hold Arthur, Stacey can't bear to let him go. Dot convinces her it's all okay, but panic then sets in when Arthur is handed on to Martin. It's all too much for a frantic Stacey and she makes a run for it with Arthur safely back in her arms.

With baby in tow, Stacey finds refuge with Kush and Shabs. The pair are alarmed by her behavior to say the least. So when Stacey tells them she needs to get to church sharpish so that Arthur can be protected from Martin - who's been sent by the devil - Kush calls his mate to tell him what's going on. Martin speeds across The Square and manages to calm Stacey to a point where she has a lucid moment and asks Martin if she's ill.

Somehow, Martin manages to make Stacey see that she needs to go to hospital and that she'll be safe there with Arthur. As she packs, an angry Jean - who thinks Martin should have dealt with Stacey's condition earlier - tells Martin she doubts Stacey will be able to keep Arthur with her in hospital. Martin, who's done pretty well to get this far (!) ignores Jean and just focuses on getting Stacey to see a doctor. Will he be able to coax her through the hospital doors, and if so what will the consequences be? What a week of drama for Walford's newest parents...

These amazing episodes will be on screen in the week beginning Monday 18th January.
