She's been supporting her mum through radiotherapy and chemotherapy, making her a mix CD (defining tune, Barbie Girl by Aqua) and cooking her up rice pudding and toast, just like Tanya used to when Lauren was small. Sob.

She's had her heart broken by Ryan, broke up Jodie and Darren's relationship (oops), sent her dad packing, watched as Jack and Ronnie fell apart, hung out with her mates, navigated Tanya, Rainie and Cora's many fall-outs, and this week marks the anniversary of her cousin and friend Billie's death. But by far the thing that's dominated her thoughts is her mum's cancer treatment and the pressure of keeping it a secret from the rest of her family. Could you cope with the year she's had?
