Break out the rum! Today was an historic day for one particular resident of Walford, as actor Rudolph Walker wrapped filming for his 1,000th EastEnders episode!
“1,000 episodes? Are you sure?” a surprised Rudolph told the EastEnders team as they gathered on set to celebrate the landmark. “It’s been really amazing. It’s been 14 fantastic years and I’ve worked with some fantastic cast and crew.”
“I look forward to coming here,” he added. “I look forward to working. I still have that child-like feeling I had when I was 15 or 16, walking onto a set for the first time. I must admit I still have that excitement, that enjoyment."
"I thank the management, the staff and the crew. Thank you all and bless you!”
