D-Day for Dot

Poor old locked-up Dot, charged with Nick's murder, is finally set to face her time in court next month.

Overseeing the proceedings will be star of stage and screen William Gaunt, who plays Judge St John Redmond. William is best known for his roles in Sergeant Cork and No Place Like Home.

Fighting Dot’s corner will be Adrian Quinlan, played by Ben Turner - formerly Jay in Casualty. 

Leading the prosecution will be Helen Stritch, played by Jaye Griffiths. You may remember Jay from cult classic Bugs or Silent Witness. Eugene Washington will also star as the clerk of the court.

Good ol' Ritchie Scott, played by Sian Webber, will also return as Phil’s long-running brief after he seeks her help in freeing Dot.

What a line-up!

Dot’s court case will air on BBC One from Friday 8th May.
