Let's hope these April showers hide the tears rolling down our faces, because Ray Dixon, aka Chucky Venn, is set to leave The Square this June.
We've watched Raymondo's ups and downs from the comfort of our sofa since his entrance to Walford in January 2012. In that time he's built up a great father/son relationship with Morgan Butcher, the son he didn't know he had with Bianca.
He's a brave man, because if there's anyone you don't want to mess with, it's the Fox sisters. Yet he's caused trouble and strife between them, cheating on the curvalicious Kim after a scandalous snog with Denise.
But Ray's since redeemed himself, showing that he's a good guy underneath afer helping out his 'baby momma', Bianca, during the gang trouble she's been having with Liam.
Alas, Ray's help is in demand when the mother of his other child, Sasha, becomes ill. Being the good man he is, Ray follows the call of duty and leaves Walford behind to look after Sasha.
Chucky has said of his exit: "Working on EastEnders has been one of my career highlights and an invaluable experience.
"I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with and have found a life-long friend in my on-screen partner Tameka. I want to thank everyone who supported me on the show."
We're going to miss you and that cheeky Chucky smile! Who knows, maybe one day he'll be back for Morgan's graduation/wedding/Christmas concert!?
