I never feel more bless to be involved with Radio 1 then when I'm asked to play the live events, and this peaks every year with Radio 1's Big Weekend - a two day free festival!! This year we headed up north to Carlisle with a crazy lineup of pop starts along with my fellow jocks on the station!! The weather was FAR from great, but Carlisle represented BIG TIME :D Highlights for me where Kissy Sellout and Toddla T's sets, and despite going in to catch the beginning of Gaga, I was soon attract like a moth to a lamp, back to the outdoor stage where Annie Mac was belting out the underground beats!! Thanks to everyone who came out for the rave! Great to see hard dance music being so amazingly accepted at such a commercial level!
