When the time came to kick off the new series of Being Human there was only one man to call, and that man needed to meet certain criteria. He had to be strong and he had to be fast and he had to be fresh from the fight. No, wait, they're Bonnie Tyler song lyrics...

What he actually had to be was a kickass director that knew the show inside out and could deliver on Toby's fantastic scripts for the new series. Step forward Colin Teague, the man responsible for shooting some of the most memorable moments of all three series of Being Human.

We caught up with Colin in the middle of block one to hear how it's going with series three.

Bonus fact for you, Colin reckons the new BH house set is bigger than any of the purpose-built sets he worked on for both Dr Who or Torchwood. But more on that in the future...

I'm sorry, Twi-what? Bat-who? Spider-excuse me?

No, at this year's London Film and Comic Con there was only one set of stars taking the event by storm... Lenora Crichlow, Aidan Turner, Russell Tovey and Colin Teague.

These four titans of the Being Human world appeared at the annual sci-fi convention in London to sign autographs, appear in photos and take questions from the crowd. They were well and truly amazed by the amount of fan love they got, and put on a great show for everyone who came along.

If you couldn't make it to the event, don't worry. Come on now, seriously, stop crying and pull yourself together because all is not lost... The BH Blog Team went down for you!

Now I know a lot of you were upset about missing Aidan at the read through, and we were too. We put our best fingerless gloves on and everything, but alas he was filming in Glasgow at the time.

But fear not, we did manage to catch up with the man himself just this week so that he could say hello in person...

GOOD LUCK...

We here at the BH Blog are men/women/werewolves of our word, so when we asked you to send in your good luck messages to the cast and crew we made sure they saw them.

Unfortunately we could only take a small selection, but like ninjas we crept in early and slipped them into each script for the read through. The whole team were buzzing to know that fans everywhere were wishing them the best for BH3, and wanted to personally thank you in this BH Blog video. High fives to everyone who got involved *slap*

Stay with us over the coming weeks as we've got more goodies up our metaphorical sleeve, including the director's-eye view from Colin Teague direct from the BH3 set.

That's coming soon to a blog near you...

(This one, to be precise.)
