THE BIG QUESTION - ANNIE'S MOST PIVOTAL MOMENTS

Am I the first one here?



There are so many pivotal Annie moments! How are we supposed to choose?!



Okay. Well obviously when she confronts Owen and whispers in his ear. (You were expecting that one weren't you Barry? *gestures picture*)



But I think for me the most pivotal is her finding out that Owen killed her. It was quite a shock! And she got through it. I don't think I would if I found out my lover killed me. I'd just curl up in a ball somewhere and give up on life. The fact that she got on with things and is back making sarky comments about George's flowery shirt in the very next episode is very commendable.

And it's pretty much a complete turn around in her character. Before that bit she is just some poor lovable dead woman still in love with her fiancée who is still in the land of the living. But afterwards she's Annie the Betrayed. Annie the Heart Broken. It's the tragedy of her character that makes her such a wonderful character.



That passionate enough for you? Sorry I seem to have written a mini essay for you. *did actually have to stop herself from writing "to conclude"*



Anyway whilst I write this Eagle or someone will have probably written their own response so I won't have the privilege of being the first. :P But anyway.

Obiously when she found out Owen killed her, and the effect it has on the way she sees him



In episode 6 where she can hear that guy (cant remember his name), and finds her new power, and becomes super-confident



When she starts haunting (only because i find those scenes funny)



When she whispers in Owen's ears.



Before she was going to go through the door because she fond out what people really thought of her (well George anyway)



The accidental kiss with Mitchell!!! Stil debating whether they should get together or not.



When she burns the pictures of Owen, and from then on she can be seen again.



And when are we going to get the scripts for episode 2 and the others????

The poltergiest bit, and the bit with the hawaiian shirt as well.

No way has this page been on since the 7th may!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it had, then there would be hundreds of entries by now, and i would have seen it earlier.

Ooh yeah the poltigeist scene and the burning Owen stuff scene. Definitely. (I went for a more focus on one scene and put all my energy into it rather than doing thinking of lots of scenes)



Remind me not to post so early in the morning. I'm okay now 'cause I'm jazzed up on caffiene but earlier was a bit sleepy.

When she starts hearing the voices and the ghost appears in her room which leads to her going and setting the vampire's prisoners free, just shows how much she has grown, her power and compassion - brilliant moment.



Also love it when she says thank you to George, but it's not exactly pivotal. I guess when she argues with George about him leaving and her refusing to hug him when she thinks he is leaving, you see that she's changed she's strong and the reason is her friendship with the guys, and she's disappointed that George appears to be letting her and Mitchell down - shows how much they both mean to her.



When Gilbert says he loves her and she has to say goodbye to him, liked that.

ooh yes the accidental kiss with Mitchell, and the bit before when she's running around, scared and upset, when she see's Mitchell walk past, you realise just how much she needs her friends, real contrast with how strong and confident she is at the end.

and then when she goes and frees the people in the funeral place



ok thats all i can think of while ive got people hammering down my ear (next doors having something done could of warned me)

Ya when her door comes... that's good. I just think she's brilliant in episode 6, she's changed and you have to admire her.



I feel your pain Katy, downstairs have been banging and drilling things almost everyday since we moved in last yr, not sure how much there can be left to hammer and drill...

Obviously apart from what everyone else has written, the "ghost pmt"/mouli grater scene from the beginning of episode 3.

there are SO many!



first off, definately when annie found out owen killed her as well as her final words to him in the last episode.

the scene when gilbert said he loved her was great as well.

ooh, the accidental kiss with mitchell definately, i hope thy become a couple in series 2. and the scene with georges shirt too :)

finally when george leaves and shes really upset.



aah there is just so many to choose from!

This question sooo hasn't been up since the 7th.

There are so many moments but here are my top three:



1) When Owen comes over and she hasn't been able to see him and she picks up his bottle and holds it to her mouth, with her back to the others. It's a really quiet moment but I think it perfectly captures her pain.



2) The mouli grater scene, bloody brilliant. Total pmt meets breakdown. I think that this scene was important for Annie as I think that she had to let some of it go, and she did... in style.



3) The moment when she turned down her door. I like the fact that she didn't even give herself the option to go and leave while Mitchell was hurt. I think that that was a really pivotal moment and I think one of the things that made her stronger and changed her into 'new Annie'.

and my favorite one where annie rescues the vampires prisoners she really kicks ass!

and of course whispering sweet nothings in owens ear!



When is series 2 coming im being to have serious withdrawal symtoms?

The moment when she smiles and melts as she watches the boys flicking bubbles at each other. :)



Hearing that Gilbert loves her.



Seeing Mitch in trouble- staking maybe but is there something before that?



Scaring Owen with George and Mitch- love that scene.

Erm... when she protects her friends at the vamp base on 2 occasions.

oops still not got round to reading this but im sure most things have been said anyway lol but yeah i love the bit where shes watching the boys with the bubbles - lovely :-) and it is pivotal because its when she finds them (well if we're ignoring the pilot for the time being)

just watched barrys history of the world video on youtube :-) if you havent watched it yet then check it out hes brilliant :-)



oh annie erm - when she hits seth with the chair :-) funny more than pivotal maybe...

Hmm something else kinda unrelated but - is it just me or did the fella who won the 125 moto gp this morning look a lot like greg chillin? lol maybe just me...



although the lad had clearly shaved his eyebrows which was worrying...and kinda funny...hmm yes ive had a strange morning lol

OOh so many!



So many great moments have been mentioned already.



A favourite of mine would be in Episode 4 when Owen and Janey come to the house and Annie sees him showing his darker side to Janey and she says "and there you are... that's the Owen I remember".

nice to know some people are still playing the game properly lol sorry i have a really short attention span :-S



nice to have people back on the blog though woo - thought for a moment there i was going to have to go fully back into the real world...what an outrageous thought lol

In episode 4, when she finds out owen is coming round and goes mental- "I will bring this house down!", I love that scene.



I think one of Annie's key moments is when Owen and Janie are in Mitchell's room measuring up, and just after they leave she says "And there you are. There's the Owen I remember"- that's when she stops being in love with him and truly believes that he was always capable of doing what he did to her. So I think that's pretty pivotal.

Hiya...not been around much, still got major tinterweb box problems But just had to come on to put my two pennorth worth in.....with apologies that it had already been said. Annie's most pivotal moment for me is facing Owen with her 'backing singers' behind her. She was so cool, calm and scary.....I thought that she was great...talk about get yer confidence back!!

Ooh something special. You sure know how to spoil us BH prod.

Lol OK not a massive fan of Andrea Riseborough but that line was good she has brilliant comic timing and of course the "I quite fancy hufflepuff actually, Ive always thought in hufflepuff they just spend the day making stuff with safety scissors and glitter"



Just in case were allowed pilot mooments but probably not...:-)

dont expect anyone will read this now as you've probably made the vid by now but I've always loved the way her eyes widen when George is trying to galvanise her into action after her severe "Owen shock" and he says something about Owen finally killing her or something, and she just widens her eyes and her expression changes and HEY PRESTO!!!! there she is - the new Annie.

I love the little look in that scene (the scaring the **** out of owen one) where she looks him up and down just a split second look but it was brilliant

Why did Owen kill Annie? Was it really because of her choice of panties?
