Abir Awad
Country Director for BBC Media Action, Iraq, Abir has recently managed a project called Socially Responsible Media Platforms for the Arab World, in which BBC Media Action supported the production of TV and web drama. The project’s previous TV drama, Dawaran Shoubra, was broadcast in 2011 and attracted tens of millions of viewers.
