“I AM the latest Jeffrey Archer!” the multi-millionaire responded, taken aback. Nowadays he’s a best seller all over the world – but the editions on sale in some countries are not what they seem….I guess it’s a sign of his success.
It’s great to hear that Jeffrey Archer is still pen-pushing to mighty acclaim. It’s amazing – he is still a profuse writer, nowadays not so much in his Grantchester garden’s folly but in his lovely sun-baked Majorca home. And ALMOST ALL still hit number one in the bestseller charts. Nowadays, he always brings them out first in India because, he says, otherwise they’d be pirated so quickly and efficiently that he’d barely make a buck. So publication date is always in India first – to give his huge Indian readership a chance to buy the real thing at the real price!
