Met a fantastic couple today, from Sonning Common, who really must be the poster couple for fostering. Yes, they've fostered 70 babies in 20 years, as well as bringing up their own children. Theirs has been a home never without nappies, often with two or three babies in various Moses baskets, cots and mattresses throughout the house! Chris and Elaine Louks just love babies and have helped turn the lives around of so many children, often from disturbing and abusive backgrounds - only to hand them on, after a few months, to permanent adoptive parents.
