It’s called Sentebale or, in the language of the people of Lesotho, ‘Forget-Me-Not’. It’s also the name of a charity set up by Princes Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, both of whom lost their mothers and wanted to create an organisation that would do something for the young people of Lesotho (often called the Forgotten Kingdom).
This centenary year, at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Prince Harry has helped in the creation of this stunning garden, which reflects both the often harsh and bare landscape of that country, but also the bright colours of the peoples’ traditional blankets, and the round houses and round hats that are part and parcel of their culture.
