Make your own Olympic gong!

Well, athletes have traditionally been presented with floral tributes - sometimes a Greek-style olive branch, other times a sapling, for heaven's sake. But this year, there were very specific instructions from the IOC (International Olympic Committee) about the 'victory bouquets'.
For instance: they had to be no bigger than 20x25 cm, British grown flowers, have strong visual impact with vibrant colours, they must be fragrant (for the athletes' sake - so they always remember), should reflect the energy of London 2012 and be of hardy varieties that will withstand varying temperatures and handling by non-experts.
Crumbs! Quite a brief!
If you fancy making an Olympic posy yourself - listen to my chat this morning, https://bit.ly/QeCbft
plus I've found a handy link that shows you EXACTLY how....
