
The programme of events for this year’s Sound Of Belfast has been announced.
Taking place from 3rd-12th November the schedule features a mix of live music showcases alongside music industry panels, with events being hosted in venues across the city.
One of the feature events of the programme is the Northern Ireland Music Prize which includes a live performance from Ash and the presentation of the Oh Yeah Legend Award to the band.
The schedule also involves performances from the likes of Ports, Hot Cops, Jealous Of The Birds, Ryan Vail, The Bonnevilles, Robyn G Shiels and Girls Names.
Another highlight is The Breaking Into Music Youth Conference, which returns for a second year on 8th November at the Oh Yeah Centre. If you are a school or college who is interested in attending you can contact charlotte@ohyeahbelfast.com.
Then on 10th November five of the latest acts to graduate from acts from Oh Yeah’s talent development programme Scratch My Progress will launch a CD of their work with a special gig featuring performances from Bosco Ramos, Emer Maguire, Petty Youth, Search Party and Vokxen.
