Participant – Leave Me Here
Friday 1st April 2016
They Say: “'Leave Me Here' is an off-cut from my most recent EP 'Content'. Lyrically it deals with a fear of progress and happiness, while musically it's a wash of samples, pitched vocals and guitars.”
We Say: “Hugely creative and stylistically all over the place - in the best possible way - this is a rare example of a bundle of great ideas organised with real focus. Lyrically it’s a little paranoid - and the tone is generally one of dread, which makes it all the more engaging. A real show stopper.”
Participant is Dublin based Stephen Tiernan. His debut E.P ‘Bit Slow’ was released in 2014 and was followed by the ‘Content’ EP in 2015. Participant plays The Workman’s Club, Dublin on 7th April with support from Kobina.
