New Music Programme Launched

Across The Line

The Guinness Amplify programme for emerging musicians has launched; Including live shows in pubs across Ireland, free studio days to record or rehearse and workshops with experts from the world of music, to help unlock the potential of new talent.



The Live event will offer musicians the chance to perform to audiences over 5 weekends in Autumn 2014, musicians will be invited to play live in Leinster (11-14 Sept), Ulster (18-21 Sep), Connacht (25-28 Sep), Munster (2-5 Oct) and Dublin (9-12 Oct).



There will also be spot appearances in unknown locations from well-known musicians, including Kodaline, Ellie Goulding, Walking On Cars and Daithí with more to be announced.



Following the live performances, studio recording, rehearsal time and workshops, a selection of bands, as decided by the expert music panel, will get the chance to perform at Guinness Amplify Live Stages - 5 showcase events in some of Ireland’s most renowned music venues in February, 2015.



The expert panel includes, Musician & Producer David Kitt, Snow Patrol drummer Jonny Quinn, music blogger Nialler9, Music industry consultant Sinead Troy and Hot Press editor Stuart Clark.



Bands and musicians interested in taking part have until July 31st to log on to upload their details. Full details of the music programme including workshop places are available on www.guinnessamplify.com
