The Vicunas – Last Words

Friday 17th March, 2017

They say:
“Last Words is a song about homesickness and riding the sometimes harsh waves of life with a degree of gallows humour and personal strength...”

We say: “Reminiscent of Kings of Leon and with vocals not unlike Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day, The Vicunas have created quite the earworm in ‘Last Words’.

Their brand of alt country rock and roll really resonates with us and the slide guitar in the verses juxtaposed with the almost Strokes like chorus works perfectly.

A great debut from this four-piece from Warrenpoint!”

‘Last Words’ was launched earlier in March and is available to stream for free now.

As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
