ATL’s Track for the Day #32

They say – “I suppose with this track and EP, in general, I'm just experimenting with sound and trying lots of ideas. Looping and layering, but trying to still retain melody. In terms of influences, musically speaking, it'd be the likes of The Notwist, Broadcast, Liars and Field Music. That's what I've mostly been listening to lately. I also release music as Feather Beds which kind of runs in tandem with Soft Bones.”

We say – “Sometimes this type of delicate, musical sketch can feel a little too much like a soundtrack snipped and not enough like a song. Not the case here - that beautifully weird vocal alongside some wonderfully hypnotic loops make this a gorgeous three-a-bit minutes of musical curiosity.”
