RUNAWAY[GO] - Lover to Lover

Thursday 15th october, 2015

They Say: "The track was mainly influenced by Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' as it is one of my favourite songs of all time. I love the way the beat kicks in at the start, and for me that's what inspired me to write Lover to Lover. The song talks about entering a new relationship, or the fascination of a new lover coming along and the heat around that. I think we definitely got what we set out to achieve for this song... It's got that 'Florence and the Machine' feel to it, which was also a big influence on the track".

We Say: Galvanised with the debut album finally on it’s way, RUNAWAY[GO] have managed to squeeze everything we love about them into four minutes. Delicate to start, anthemic to finish, it’s a quiet riot.

RUNAWAY[GO]'S debut album 'Alive' is out on November 16th, 'Lover to Lover' is out now and the band play The Dirty Onion, Belfast on Saturday 17th October 2015
