Ryan Vail – ‘Mirrors’ & ‘Wounds’ (Performed Live in Session for ATL)
Wednesday 23rd March 2016
They Say: “My album "For Every Silence" covers a lot of musical genres. The songs on the album have been written from the pianos perspective. How it understands life events unfolding around it.”
We Say: “Surrounded by synths and spongy new technology - he described one instrument by saying ‘if Batman had a keyboard’ - Ryan essentially hypnotised us for the duration of three tracks from his remarkable debut album. Everything about the performance - the beats, the voice and the keys - was subtle. Yet those songs sounded beautiful and oddly majestic.”
Ryan’s debut album ‘For Every Silence’ is available to pre-order until Saturday 26th March via his crowdfund campaign. The album’s launch show is in The Mac, Belfast on 8th April 2016
