The Dublin based festival, Hard Working Class Heroes, has announced the 50 acts that will make up the bill for 2018. Over 600 acts applied to be part of the festival with musicians selected independently, by international and Irish music professionals.
Joshua Burnside, Hand Models, Hunkpapa, New Atlas, Malojian, New Pagans, Sam Wickens, The Wood Burning Savages and ROE, amongst others will take to the stage over Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of September across five Dublin city centre venues. The festival begins on Thursday 27th of September with a music networking event in the Chocolate Factory.
HWCH has been running since 2003, beginning in Dublin with 40 bands playing in a single venue and has grown to a wide-ranging event that features agents, labels, managers, radio DJs and journalists coming to find new Irish acts. The festival reduced the amount of showcase acts in recent years but has spoken of an increased success rate for acts involved.
