Ryan McMullan – Holding Me Down
He Says: “The track is basically a song about breaking free from whatever holds you down. I have released it as a live demo video before, but then decided to take it into the studio and build on it. The main influences in my music are Foy Vance, Otis Redding and even a bit of Paolo Nutini.”
We Say: “Big voice and big song 'Holding me Down' shows Ryan up as a potentially massive prospect. There's broad appeal yet the type of edge that keeps the likes of ourselves very interested.”
