Shay D – 1989 (Tape)
They Say: “The track itself is just a bit of fun, reminiscing about old school dance, cassette tapes and ghettoblasters. I made it a couple of months ago when I first started dabbling with Logic Pro X. I had this idea about cassette tapes spinning and doing stuff and was trying to think of something to go with it, and I came up with the track. It’s a little more '90s sounding than '80s, so I compromised on the name and called it: 1989 (Tape).”
We say: “Just the right mix of cheesy and quirky, this is the type of short and sweet synth work-out developed to put a smile on your face and a shuffle in your boots.”
