
The full schedule for the Women’s Work festival in Belfast has been announced. Taking place from Friday 4th to Friday 11th March, Women’s Work’ will highlight, celebrate and showcase women in music, as well as facilitate discussion with industry and artists – with 23 events, 50 acts and 30 industry speakers.
Kicking off the festival is Annie Nightingale in conversation on Friday 4th March, there’ll be a keynote speech with music critic Jessica Hopper on Sunday 6th March and an International Women's Day Showcase with Katharine Philippa, Jealous of the Birds and Saint Sister on Tuesday 8th March.
Other events include musical showcases from Susie-Blue, Sister Ghost, Goldie Fawn, Vokxen amongst other acts. There will be panel discussions on gender equality in the music business, instrumental workshops, and a discussion on how women can develop careers in live sound and studio engineering.
