Brand New Friend – I Was An Astronaut

They Say: “'I Was An Astronaut' was the very first song written for Brand New Friend and has been on every one of our set lists so far! It's the single off our debut EP and it sort of reflects the vibe of it pretty well. It's about feeling so happy with someone, so totally in the moment with them, that you can't possibly be on Earth anymore. It's a song with heart, and we really hope people enjoy it for that.

We say:  “As debut releases go ‘I Was An Astronaut’ is an impressive start: Indie-Pop guitars, big verses and an even bigger chorus. To think that it’s not just the band’s first non-demo release, but the very first song they ever created together, leaves us very excited for the future of this Castlerock band indeed.

Brand New Friend are brother and sister Lauren & Taylor Johnson, Fionn Crossan and Darren Hill, and the band have an EP on the way...
