Conor Scott – Watch Me Go

He says: “I suppose it is a song up for interpretation, like any, but the core idea behind it, is having the freedom to do anything - regardless of what it is. The imagery in the lyrics, reflects my time in Donegal where I take a lot of influences from. I really wanted a big sounding song for the single of the EP, and Watch Me Go is so fun to play live, so much so that I really enjoyed its recording process."

We say: Is Conor a blatant pop star or prototype hipster? A chart-hitter in the making, or a troubadour making thoughtful Indie? It's a nice discussion to have, as at the moment, and especially on this debut album taster, he's right on that sweet spot, straddling credibility and broad appeal.
