Hello Casanova - I Don't Want To Talk
Friday 31st March, 2017
They say: “I Don’t Want To Talk is an energetic, anthemic pop rock song about growing up and perhaps not being mentally prepared to admit that you have to do that at a certain point.
Vocalist, Matt Irwin says, ‘I recently turned 21 and I don’t see myself as an adult yet. However, every now and again I get a reminder that I maybe should. Some of my friends have kids and have done for a year or two, people I went to school with are getting married, have jobs with large enterprises and businesses while I’m just trying my best to make it in a band.
That freaks me out from time to time. However I also don’t think there’s a problem with clinging to the idea that you’ll live forever and in the right moment it’s okay to celebrate that."
We say: “The slam and the crunch of a well-fitted tune, performed by a band that's evolving smartly.
You can trace the inspiration of Hello Casanova back to melodic punkers like Green Day, but this new installment reveals a whole other deal of sass and sophistication."
Formerly known as Foreign Affairs NI, Hello Casanova are a pop-punk/alt-rock trio from Armagh. Keep up to date with any Hello Casanova news on their Facebook page.
